Zacharie Sadock came to this project with a complex, layered vision — and my job was to help him get it onto the page. My master's in screenwriting gave me the structural tools to make his idea work as a screenplay: putting the pieces in the right order, holding the logic of a fractured memory together, making sure the story he had in his head could actually be felt on screen. It was a great script to start with. The writing process was a genuine collaboration — a back-and-forth between me, Zach, and producer Christiaan Mitcalfe, constantly pressure-testing the work to make sure it stayed true to Zach's vision.
